Job Description
The Human Resources coordinator will conduct full cycle recruitment in sourcing the best talent for College-Wide Adjuncts, Affiliate Faculty, Part-time, Temporary, Seasonal and Student employees with a priority for Distance Education hires. This position will maintain an effective database and programs for retention in support of Unity College. This position monitors human resources functions of the College in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations. The Human Resources Coordinator will also manage employee training and assist with ongoing professional development. This position can be located in either Unity or New Gloucester, Maine.

Required Skills
The ideal candidate will have an Associate degree in Human Resource Manager or Business with at least three (3) years of job-related experience or any similar combination of education and experience. Working knowledge of federal/state/local laws and regulations related to the areas of workplace planning and employment and human resources development activities. Knowledge in employment laws and regulations. Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft products. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, students, partents and the general public. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions. Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality in all matters concerning employees. Strong organization skills and attention to detail. Ability to multi-task and establish priorities for meeting deadlines, using time efficiently.
